application process like? Why do you have one?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application process mainly consists of questions about yourself and your artistic practice. We have an application as we want to make sure that your goals and existing skills aligns with any particular mentorship.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What are the requirements for a mentorship?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requirements vary depending on the mentorship, but generally you\u2019ll need access to Zoom (ideally on a tablet or larger) with a camera and mic, and stable internet connection. Mentorships are conducted in English, and require time set aside for homework.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What\u2019s &#8220;Week Zero&#8221;?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Week Zero is the week <em>before<\/em> a mentorship session. This is when you\u2019ll receive your onboarding information and any prep work you\u2019ll need to finish prior to class starting in the first week.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Where are the mentorships sessions held? <\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For greater accessibility purposes and to support artists from around the globe, we hold all our classes online over Zoom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Who runs these mentorships? <\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently our mentorship instructor roster is the co-founders of the Brave Artists, <a href=\"https:\/\/thebraveartists.com\/home\/about\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thebraveartists.com\/home\/about\">Eve Skylar and Rick Kitagawa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Do you offer certificates?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a proudly independent, unaccredited educational platform, we do not offer certificates.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Are there any discounts?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not offer discounts, but we do offer partial and full scholarships. If price is the main barrier to considering a mentorship, we highly encourage you to apply anyway and note that a scholarship is needed in your application.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What&#8217;s your recording policy? <\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We record all sessions, and you will have access to them for 3 months after your mentorship ends. That said, this is not a passive class &#8211; you are expected to attend all sessions in-person with your camera on.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What&#8217;s this about future session access?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pending space, mentees will also be invited to join all future iterations of this group mentorship, at a non-feedback level, for free. <br><br>This means that as long as there is space, once accepted into a group mentorship, you will be invited to rejoin any future iterations of that mentorship at no cost to you.
